Education and humanitarian service across Africa
Sulaimaniyyah Humanitarian Relief Association (SHRA) is a nonprofit association established in Nigeria, with activities in different parts of Africa. We bring together education, faith-based learning, and humanitarian assistance because we believe that lasting service begins by recognising the dignity, needs, and potential of every person. Through our work, we seek to support stronger individuals, families, and communities with care, responsibility, and hope.

At Sulaimaniyyah HRA, education is central to how we understand service. Knowledge, sound values, and personal development can help people participate more fully in their families and communities, and can open a more hopeful path towards the future. Alongside education, we give importance to access to water, food assistance, seasonal support, and faith-based learning.
Our association brings these areas together through one shared principle: practical support should always respect human dignity. We aim to respond to immediate needs while also valuing the learning, character, and social strength that help communities grow over time.

Education
We value learning environments that can help children and young people develop knowledge, character, confidence, and a sense of responsibility. Our educational outlook includes general learning, faith-based education, and personal development, with the aim of helping individuals prepare for the future with awareness and hope.

Clean Water
Access to clean water is closely connected to health, daily life, and community wellbeing. Borehole projects form part of our humanitarian work in this field. By supporting access to a resource that families rely on every day, we aim to contribute to safer and more dignified living conditions.

Food Parcels
Food assistance is a practical expression of solidarity with families facing difficult circumstances. Through food parcels and related support activities, we seek to help meet essential needs thoughtfully and respectfully. For us, this is part of standing with communities when everyday resources are under pressure.
Our mission is to support the intellectual, spiritual, ethical, cultural, social, and economic development of individuals and communities through education and service.
We aspire to contribute to centres of learning and service that help people build a better quality of life. Our vision is of communities in which knowledge, values, mutual care, and access to essential support help individuals look towards the future with confidence.
